1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using TabeeMap, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not use our service.
2. Use of Service
TabeeMap is a platform for discovering places and connecting with fellow explorers. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating GoTos and Check-Ins
- Respect other users and maintain appropriate conduct
- Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Not attempt to harm or exploit other users
3. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post on TabeeMap, including GoTos, Check-Ins, photos, and cost information. By posting content, you grant TabeeMap a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content within the service.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Meetups and Safety
TabeeMap facilitates connections between users but is not responsible for in-person meetups. Users are solely responsible for their safety when meeting others. We recommend meeting in public places and taking appropriate safety precautions.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Post false or misleading information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Spam or post unsolicited commercial content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the service
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in inappropriate behavior. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
TabeeMap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, including cost information and reviews. Use the service at your own discretion.
9. Limitation of Liability
TabeeMap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to in-person meetups or reliance on user-generated content.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
Premium Feature
Curated GoTo — Refund & Rebooking Policy
Rebooking (Credit) — Recommended
If you need to cancel a paid Curated GoTo booking, we strongly recommend choosing a credit. This keeps the full ticket value in your account — no fees deducted — and it's applied automatically on your next booking.
- Credit equals 100% of the ticket price — no booking fees
- Applied automatically at checkout on future events
- No expiry date (currently)
- Available immediately after cancellation
Refunds — Booking Fees Apply
Refunds back to your original payment method are available, but payment processing fees are non-recoverable:
- Stripe charges approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
- This fee is deducted from your refund amount
- Example: a $15.00 ticket refunds ~$14.26 to your card
- Refunds take 5–10 business days depending on your bank
Choosing credit always retains more value than a refund.
Automatic Cancellation (Group Underfilled)
If the minimum group size is not reached by the cutoff (~24 hours before the event), the event is automatically cancelled and all participants receive a full credit — instantly added to their account, no fees deducted. The credit can be applied to any future Curated GoTo.
Admin Cancellations
In rare cases where an admin cancels a confirmed event, all participants receive a full credit — instantly added to their account, no fees deducted — and are notified immediately.
Cancellation Eligibility
You may cancel your booking any time before the event enters "Ongoing" status. Once an event has started, cancellations are no longer accepted.
